Centre Based Programs including Day Programs

Our day programs are designed to suit all family support needs with flexible supports. We are committed to everyone. As part of our service delivery, one can expect: Personalised service; a plan just for you; activities you will enjoy; support specific to your needs, proactive communications; life skills development; ongoing review of your goals and strategies. In these programs you will have the opportunity to make new friends, gain new skills and build your confidence while having fun. Support is offered between 7am and 11pm daily by our dedicated team who focus on making sure the time you spend with us is both educational and enjoyable. We focus on developing physical fitness, social skills and educational interests. Our team will support you to build your independence in daily tasks. You will have the opportunity to decide on the activities you wish to pursue that align with their goals. Our team focuses on assisting you to develop skills, build confidence and independence, improve social skills and engage with other people of your age group in local community facilities. Community based activities include visits to the community events, sporting events, beach, swimming pool, local museums and zoos.

Housing and Supported Independent Living

Are you living with mental illness, disabilities or recovering from drug and alcohol and other substance dependencies? Are you looking for an inclusive, diverse and a safe home environment where everyone’s heart is at the right place? Try our Supported Independent Living homes. At our Supported Independent Living homes, you will never be a number but you will be a Person who will be supported to realise your potential.

Our friendly team will be work with you to tailor support plans that will keep you at the driver’s seat of your life and see you achieve your potential. You will be empowered, supported to make informed decisions; supported to keep everyone who matter in your life and provide integrated service suitable for you through a holistic approach that will include other service provider and your family.

We will work with you and support you in developing skills for life and meet your goals. We will support you to: –

  • Increase your independence and to make choices to live your life your way
  • Engage with your community activities and events
  • Maintain you circle of supports, family and friends

We will support you build you capacity to do life skills tasks such as:

  • Washing, cooking and cleaning
  • Personal hygiene and its benefits
  • Community participation and engagement Support
  • Transportation assistance to promote your new, existing social and community network
  • Support you to manage your money and develop your budgeting skills
  • Assistance with your health care management and support
  • Support you to achieve your dreams, social needs and set goals

Life Skills Centre

Through this program which is centre based you will be supported to build your social skill; make and keep friends; gain life skills; have peer support; maintain your health; gain road smart skills; gain stranger dander awareness and be part of flexible programs tailored to suit your individual needs. This program is for anyone living with a disability from the age of 12 years to 65.

Weekend Recreation

If you are looking at engaging with your community; attend events as a group; watch a movie; engage with what our nation has to offer as tourist attraction; you living with a disability; are between 11 years old and 65. Then this is program is for you. This program is a mixture of centre based and community participation. You will be supported to build your social skill; make and keep friends; gain life skills; have peer support; maintain your health; gain road smart skills; gain stranger dander awareness and be part of flexible programs tailored to suit your individual needs.

Short Breaks and Outing

Short Term Accommodation

Teen Hangouts

Are you a teenager? Are you looking for other Teens to hang out with? This is your program. This program is a mixture of centre based and community participation. You will be supported to build your social skill; make and keep friends; gain life skills; have peer support; maintain your health; gain road smart skills; gain stranger dander awareness and be part of flexible programs tailored to suit your individual needs. This program is for anyone living with a disability from the age of 12 years to 18. Time varies based on the activities of the day. This is program runs from 5 – 7 hours.

Holiday Supports

Our team will support our participants with everyday activities in their own home such as:

    • Caring for a participant whilst their carer is otherwise occupied
    • Caring for a participant overnight
    • Active awake night care
    • Assistance with recreational activities/interests
    • Assistance with home work
    • Assistance with meal preparation
    • Basic domestic chore support

In Home Support

Our team will support our participants with everyday activities in their own home such as:

    • Caring for a participant whilst their carer is otherwise occupied
    • Caring for a participant overnight
    • Active awake night care
    • Assistance with recreational activities/interests
    • Assistance with home work
    • Assistance with meal preparation
    • Basic domestic chore support

Community Support

We provide our participants with assistance for everyday activities when they need to leave their home. Our staff can:

    • Take participants shopping
    • Assist participants to attend community events
    • Support participants to access recreational activities such as a concert or gallery
    • Enable participants to attend appointments
    • Help participants access other programs (swimming club, sports, or another disability service provider)
    • We can also accompany our participants when they are on holiday to provide support you whilst they are away

Drop In Support

This is person-centred and flexible and provides a supportive environment that assists with a broad range of everyday tasks and responsibilities at your own home. Whether you live in supported or independent accommodation, we provide services and advice including transport, shopping, education, health and conversations about parenting, relationship building, community participation and general welfare. Whenever you need support, we are available to help you.

Vacation Care

Are you a teenager? Are you looking for a safe place to spend your school holidays developing new skills while having fun? This is your program. This program is a mixture of centre based and community participation. You will be supported to build your social skill; make and keep friends; gain life skills; have peer support; maintain your health; gain road smart skills; gain stranger dander awareness and be part of flexible programs tailored to suit your individual needs. This program is for anyone living with a disability from the age of 12 years to 18. It starts from 8am to 6pm every school holiday.
